A junior class at school was given the holiday task of caring for the "nature study" tadpoles---but alas, they had all died when school resumed.
the distressed pupils said" But we gave them plenty of milk!!"
A definition of dietary milk----
" the collected secretion of the modified apocrine glands of cattle"
As we say in the borders "Fair puts you off"
See you all next month………………...Jimmy

A NEW YEAR BEGINS IN THE DROP IN!!
GROUP FINDS FIRST DROP IN OF YEAR VERY
STIMULATING!!!
Wednesday 16th April saw our first Drop-In of the year, and it was great to see the sister and all her little helpers, in the totally refurbished Day Hospital at the BGH. Everyone attending were treated to a talk on Deep Brain Stimulation , by Catherine Young Parkinson’s Disease Nurse Specialist (PDNS) from Ninewells Hospital, and she was accompanied by Alison Stewart, PDNS, from the Western Infirmary in Edinburgh, then lets not forgot oor very ain PDNS who was present too, Jill Anderson.
The next Drop In will be held on Wednesday 20th May, as usual 2-4 in the Day Hospital, everyone is welcome.
Next month Jill will talk to the group about her role as a PDNS. Jill asks if we can all be patient (haha get it? Patient!) as she will be going through her induction for the next couple of months, and will be also finding her feet, but if anyone is requiring support they have still to call the Day Hospital….
