Thanks to Margaret ‘can I buy a raffle ticket’ Hunter, who last month donated an album of photographs from the last ten years, it will be available for all to see on request from the library. I have to admit to shedding a tear or two at some of the fantastic memories seeing all the pics brought back. THANKYOU MARGARET!!

Well I suppose if your family consists of maw, paw, hen, joe, daphne. horace,
the twins, bairn oh aye an gramps yer gonnae have quite a good knowledge
database for quizzes. So have you guessed who won last months quiz for the third
time!! Yup the broons have done it again FOR THE THIRD TIME!!!! Mary an Jennifer
Brown from Innerleithen were winners of last months quiz.
Unfortunately I have misplaced the photo of the presentation to Mary and
Jennifer but as soon as I come across it I will print it ……………….. Sorry!! As
regular readers to the newsletter will know if you win the trophy three times
you have to KEEP THE TROPHY FOREVER!! SO NAE LUCK THE BROONS!! An nae luck Gary
coz he has to construct a new one!! But congratulations to the Broons on their
victory!

RUMOURS ARE SPREADING OF SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY CONSUMED 25 ASST SCONES AT A COFFEE MORNING IN EARLSTON RECENTLY!!
