Thanks to Margaret ‘can I buy a raffle ticket’ Hunter, who last month donated an album of photographs from the last ten years, it will be available for all to see  on request from the library. I have to admit to shedding a tear or two at some of the fantastic memories  seeing all the pics brought back. THANKYOU MARGARET!!

Well I suppose if your family consists of maw, paw, hen, joe, daphne. horace, the twins, bairn oh aye an gramps yer gonnae have quite a good knowledge database for quizzes. So have you guessed who won last months quiz for the third time!! Yup the broons have done it again FOR THE THIRD TIME!!!! Mary an Jennifer Brown from Innerleithen were winners of last months quiz.  Unfortunately I have misplaced the photo of the presentation to Mary and Jennifer but as soon as I come across it I will print it ……………….. Sorry!! As regular readers to the newsletter will know if you win the trophy three times you have to KEEP THE TROPHY FOREVER!! SO NAE LUCK THE BROONS!! An nae luck Gary coz he has to construct a new one!! But congratulations to the Broons on their victory!

MEETINGS!!

 DROP IN  HAS CHANGED DATE FOR MAY AND WILL NOW BE ON WEDNESDAY  19TH MAY 2-4.  SO THAT’S A CHANGE FOR MAYS DROP IN IT WILL NOW BE ON WEDNESDAY 19TH MAY…………….. C U THERE.

 

MONDAY MEETING IN CHAPLAINCY MONDAY 31ST MAY 2010 THIS MONTH JILL ANDERSON PARKY NURSE WILL TALK TO US ABOUT HOW TO GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR NEUROLOGISTS APPOINTMENT.

 

ANNUAL OUTING JUNE MEETING ANNUAL OUTING

 

AS HAPPENS ON A 12 MONTHLY BASIS THE JUNE MEETING WILL BE REPLACED BY THIS YEARS OUTING. THIS YEAR WE ARE PAYING A VISIT TO NORTH BERWICK, GET YER NAMES TO GARY SO YOU DINNAE MISS OUT,  THAT’LL BE MONDAY  28TH JUNE BUS WILL LEAVE JEDBURGH 930 ST BOSWELLS 945 GALASHIELS BANK STREET 1000…………….. LUNCH WILL BE SUPPLIED, AND WE WILL DEPART NORTH BERWICK 330 ISH PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WI GARY IF YE WISH TAE BOOK A SEAT. WE ARE TRYING TO ORGANISE A DAY OOT WITH A MUCH SHORTER  JOURNEY TIME, THIS YEAR

 

Parkinsons Awareness Week

Gary and Alan Robertson were up at Edinburgh Waverley Station  to highlight the new Parkinsons uk livery, new lapel badges and trolley coins are now available from Gary.

RUMOURS ARE SPREADING OF SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY CONSUMED 25 ASST SCONES AT A COFFEE MORNING IN EARLSTON RECENTLY!! AS THIS NEWSLETTER IS GOING TO PRINT WE HEARD THAT WITH THE UP AND COMING KELSO COFFEE MORNING  PLANS ARE BEING PUT INTO ACTION WITH THE HELP OF CCTV TO SPOT AND APPREHEND THE PAHANTON SCONE SCOFFER!
