'TIS THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY FA-LA-LA FA- LA-LA-LA

THIS MONTHS MONDAY MEETING AT THE BGH

 

PEEBLES 2B'S MEETING

            

Well amid much confusion, somethin' oor Gary is so used to, the first meeting took place of the Peebles 2B's meeting with a dozen people in attendance which was really good. This month’s takes place on Thursday 21st November 10 - 12 in the Peebles Community Centre.

 

All are welcome the 2B's in case you are wondering what it stands for it means we are meeting for tea/coffee and BIKKY AN' BLETHER! We have no plans for one in December but after that hopefully holding them on the third Thursday of the month. So the first one of 2014 will be on Thursday 16th January 2014, from 10 till 12.

 

 

PETER PAN

Arrangements for getting to Peter Pan and times are now sorted and we will be getting in touch with you individually with details.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well firstly many many thanks for all of you who came along to Octobers Monday meeting, it  was great to see so many people there and for those for whom it was your first meeting we do hope you will return to our future meetings.

              

Our thanks go to Bob for his relaxation session, it was Magic....... Bob and it was good to Lesley back with a lot of you having a go at the Indian Heed Massages that she does.

It has been  a very busy time for the group just now with lots going on, the most important of which is our Christmas Dinner details in this newsletter,  so am gonnea  wheeshed an let you read n digest yer Monthly Newsletter.......have fun!

 

 

 

Due to the number of new faces the Monday meeting this month will consist of some chat over a tea/coffee. Lesley will be doing her Indian heed massages, and also Jill oor Parky Nurse Specialist will be in attendance.

 

We are planning next year’s agenda for the meetings; if there is something you think might be a guid thing to have at a future meeting can you let Gary know of your thoughts. Anyway where was a' oh aye Monday meeting....... this month’s Monday meeting will take place on Monday 25th November 2 - 4 in the Chaplaincy Centre, look forward to seeing you all there then..............

 

 

 

 

 

 


EYEMOUTH SWIMMING EXERCISING

 

Working with Dave Dempster from Eyemouth pool we hope to really get these exercise classes off the ground in January. The set up will be 12-1 swimming exercises.

 

Followed by tea/coffee 1-2. If you think you would like to attend theses keep fit classes could you let Gary know of yer interest pleez by the usual methods of communication.

 

 

 

YOUNG PARKYS MONTHLY BASH

 

Well we got our first meeting over and done with, and the new venue of H2O in Gala proved a hit, and if you are ever fortunate enough to be in H2O furra meal, Ros Hamilton recommends you order waffle for yer pudding!!!! That right Ros..........................?

 

It was agreed with all present to miss out a meet in December starting again in January,  so the first 'Young Parky’s Meet n Meal'  will be Tuesday 7th January 2014, at 6.30.

 

 

THE 2013 PARKYS CHRISTMAS MEAL

 

 

We’re the Parkinson’s support and research charity. Help us find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.

We can reveal exclusively that we have booked the Christmas dinner for 2013 at the Buccleuch Hotel in the Salmon Room at St. Boswells for Tuesday 17th December for 1pm with eating at 1.30pm.

                                

The day cost is nothing it is advisable to get yer name down early................

 

Alongside you will find menu. If you wish to book a place please get in touch with Gary with the following; name of person and their choice of Starter Main and Dessert.
