Tuesday 4th November – 10 am-12am, Committee meeting in Dining Room at the BGH

Thursday 6th November – 12pm-2pm, Exercise Class, Eyemouth Swimming Pool

Tuesday 11th November – 6.30pm till 8’ish, Youngasyoufeel Gang, H2O Galashiels

Sunday 16th November – 2pm- 4pm, Hawick, Cuppa an a Chat Folk are holding a quiz. Evergreen Hall, Hawick

Thursday 20th November – 10am-12noon, Peebles, Cuppa an a Chat, Peebles Community Centre

Monday 24th November – 2pm-4pm Monday Meeting, Chaplaincy Centre at the BGH

Wednesday 26th November - 2pm-4pm, Hawick Cuppa an a Chat. Evergreen Hall, Hawick

 

I ken a lot oa you willnae believe the statement above, but it’s true sometimes ah jist sit in front oa the computer and ma minds a blank!

 

Dinnae ken whit tae say! Like just now, it may seem that I got plenty to say as always, but the timescale between the word now and the word it was 15 hours!!!

 

I type sumfin, then erase it! Type and erase! Type and erase!

 

Maybe its jet lag cause ah um just back frae visiting ma wee maw in Bo’ness! She says to say hi to everyone by the way.

 

Well last month saw oor September meeting after a wee summer break, an it was great to see everyone there, and I thoroughly enjoyed havin a chance to hae a chat an hear whit everyone’s been up to.

 

 

 

 

This month will see the battle fur the ‘Parky Brain oa the Borders’ trophy, if we can find it that is, as it has gone AWOL again, I really should get it insured, as it would cost a mint if we had to replace it!!

 

Anyway hopefully the kettles boiled, so if yer tea is poured I’ll gaun an leave ye to it enjoy yer September October Newsletter.

 

October Monday Meeting

 

This month’s meeting will be held on Monday 27th October from 2-4 in the Chaplaincy Centre at the BGH.

 

This month’s meeting also sees the return oa Lesley, aye ah ken some oa ye missed her, miss her nae mair coz she’s back wi’ her Indian heed massage. Jill will be there. ‘Parky Brain oa the Borders’ quiz will be held. Tea an Coffees will be served, if you havenae been before get yersel’ down there, you’ll no be disappointed honest!

 

 

 

 

 

 


2014 PANTOMIME

The panto Aladdin, Wednesday 3rd December is now fully booked, thanks to everyone who got in touch. Details of times and pick up points will be in next month’s newsletter.

                       

As with last year we will be stopping off at the Juniper Lea Restaurant on the A68 for lunch at around quarter to twelve, hopefully giving us a bit mair time tae eat wur food.

 

 

Two fellas walked into a bar, you’d think wan oa them would hae seen it.

                                                      

I went into pub last night and saw two owls playing pool, one of the owls accidently nudged the white ball wi his wing, so he says, “two hits.”

An the other owl turned round and says, “two hits to who!”
