Hi there and welcome to this month’s newsletter hope this finds you well, it always makes you feel better when you see the daffs stems popping up through the soil, Aye an the snaw!!!  I do however wonder why the daffs are sprouting up in the front garden, an then when I walk 10 steps to the back garden the daff stems are nowhere to be seen!!?

Well whatta meeting we had last month in the Chaplaincy, when we were joined by singing expert Wendy Taylor. Wendy’s philosophy is that everyone can sing, yeah, even while yer havin a heed massage though quite a few refused to accept this everyone can sing fact (and we have also heard that Gary’s neighbours totally disagree with Wendy!!)

This said we were treated to some Burns tunes; Coulter’s Candy was sung by us all and dedicated it to Mr. Charles Hogarth. Even at 4 p.m. a couple oa the group were still singing’ Burns tunes with Wendy!! The good news is that Wendy will be back for our May meeting. So if you missed Wendy last month mark this date in your diary that’s Monday 25th May.

Back to the present day, and we have information on a trip to the Kelpies if that’s how you spell it, awareness week 2015, future events in the Borders and much more, so we hope enjoy yer February newsletter.

The Branch meeting on Monday 23rd February will be the branch’s A.G.M. it would be great if we could have as many there as possible it’s the best way of hearing how we are doing, an what’s going on. There will also be tea coffee an bikkys available. Lesley will be there giving relaxing Indian heed massages if you like. Please come along it be great to see you there that’s 2 – 4 Monday 23rd February in the chaplaincy centre at the BGH.
