Well What a Day We Had In December As The Group Went To The Theatre, For Last Year’s Panto Aladdin. It Was A Slightly Mair Relaxed Chilled Out Crowd Of Folk Who Left The Juniper Lea Compared To 12 Months Earlier. The Panto Was Brill, No It Wasnae, Aye It Was!  I Think I Can Safely Say Oor Group Made Mair Noise Than All The School Kids!! Oh Yes We Did, Awe Naw You Dinae!  This Year’s Panto Is Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, Watch Out For Details Seats Will Be Limited This Year On A First Come First Basis Thingy!! Hi Hoooo!  A Big Thank You To Jennifer Brown For Organizing The Tickets Stuff For Aladdin.

ANYONE FUR TURKEY?”

Well this year’s Christmas Lunch at the ‘Blue Coo’ in St Boswells was oor most successful an popular yet.

Due to an admin error (Aye right! Whit did Gary do rang this time?)

Gary thought there wiz around 45 to 50 folk attending the meal, but the week before while Gary was finalising how many oa each thing to order, he noticed he had mistook his ain handwriting  an took a 30 asa 20, It’s easily done!!  We had a record number turning up on the day one offa 60!! Can we say Thank You to Jill an Borders Health Board for their financial donation towards the lunch.

Unfortunately on the day we had 2 unhappy punters, one had ordered Turkey but there wis nae turkey left in the kitchen. Please accept oor apologies this was due to an admin error, ok Gary’s fault. Someone ordered Xmas pudding an got ice cream. This was due to someone who had ordered ice cream taking Xmas pudding. On investigation we discovered who the culprit was, Gary!!!

Situations Vacant In The Scottish Borders

A Vacancy Has Arisen In The Scottish Borders For A Christmas Lunch Organiser.

Seriously though can we say thank you to everyone who brought along donations for the raffle. We managed to make up a couple oa hampers, Maybole Bell frae Hume and Jennifer Brown frae Innerleithen are both worthy oa a mention for the raffle prizes they created wi their ain hauns. Thank you!!
