Well what can ah say, they only gone an done it again, I am
talking about those ‘Three Amigos’!! Three times in a row for
them, well congratulations. The quiz master did try and put a
couple oa hard questions so hard not only could they not answer
them, but neither could anyone else at the meeting, foiled
again. See the ‘Three Amigos’, collecting the trophy at the last
meeting later in newsletter,
‘can I just say that nobody wanted to win the quiz 3 times in a
row when Gary made the trophy!!’
It was great to see so many coming along to the chaplaincy
centre last month, and some people there for the first time,
we’re right chuffed to see you coming along, hope we havenae
scared you off!
Included in this newsletter you find details of the 2016
Christmas meal, as I say every year this event is sometimes the
only event some folk get to, but it gives them a chance to catch
up with everyone, friends old and new. It is fab to see them
coming along………… so dinnae be shy, get yer seat booked pronto
like.

The last Monday meeting of the year will take place on Monday 28th
November, as it is the last meeting before Christmas, we will
have a Xmas card competition.
Between now and the meeting why don’t you get a piece of card or
paper and make up a festive Christmas card. Then bring it along
to the meeting. Jill Anderson will judge all entries. Yes,
remember it is just for fun although there will be some festive
prizes for 3rd 2nd and first place.
Just let our creative side go daft and bring your own design of
Christmas card along with you on 28th November 2-4.
Can I just squeeze in below are the three amigos, again
receiving the cup furra 3rd time!! Well done to the
three oa you.

SINGERS REQUIRED
The group has booked the chaplaincy centre on Friday 16th
December 2-4, the reason? We
are looking for volunteers to do some carol/Christmas songs to see
if we can raise funds for the group.
We have managed to get permission to sing under the canopy at
Iceland in high street Galashiels between the hours 11.00 and 1.00
on Christmas eve. So, if you feel you would like to put a bit of
festive spirit into shopper’s day, get yourself along to the
chaplaincy on Friday 16th December.
No need to call, this 2-hour session will be on a drop-in basis to
allow us gauge how many we have willing to do the singing.
So, do you wannae sing?
